Tyler, who made 11 appearances for National League North play-off winners Boston United last season, completed the 2023/24 campaign playing for Heacham in his pursuit for more regular first team football.

First Team Manager Alex Cross said “We are delighted to announce that Tyler has joined the club. He’s a good character, can play in a number of positions and possesses good quality leadership skills. I’m looking forward to working with him and introducing him into the club.”

Tyler had the following to say on joining the club, “I’m very happy to be here; I feel like Soham is the best place to get my journey back up the pyramid started again.
I’m excited to be joining up with Crossy again and hopefully having a successful season. It’s a completely new environment where I don’t know anyone so I look forward to meeting both the fans and players.”

The club can also confirm that Hayden Lambert and Gabriel Muffett have agreed to return for the new season.
Hayden joined Soham towards the back end of the season and impressed in a number of games scoring in the win against Long Melford.
Gabriel came through the club's U18s, where he was named last season’s player’s and supporter’s player of the year, and Reserves before making his First Team debut towards the end of the season.
