LANCE KEY - Manager
Appointed Soham manager in November 2024, having previously managed Histon for seven years and coached Royston Town. A former professional goalkeeper that spells with a number of sides including Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham Athletic, Oxford United, Lincoln City, Hartlepool United, Rochdale and Dundee United.

SAM SPENCER - Coach
Joined the coaching staff in 2023 after retiring due to injury, having played for Soham, Yaxley, Wisbech Town, Deeping Rangers, Huntington Town and St Neots Town.

LEE CHAFFEY – Coach
Experienced defender that joined Soham in October 2017 from St Ives Town, having previously played over 650 games for Cambridge City after started his career at Ipswich Town. Appointed player/coach in October 2023.

JOAO AGUILAR
Striker that scored on his debut against Newmarket Town in January 2024 after being promoted to the 1st Team from the Reserves.

RYAN AUGER
Club Captain. Midfielder that returned to Soham in September 2021 following a short period at Bury Town. Started his career with Southend United, where he progressed through the youth academy to play in the Football League, prior to spells with Bishop Stortford, Histon, Cambridge City and Bedford Town.

PRAISE AYENI
A pacey full back that joined the Soham from Cherry Hinton during the summer. Previously had a spell playing in America after starting at Cambridge United.

JACK BRAME
Striker that scored on his debut after signing from Walsham Le Willows in September 2024, having previously played for Bury Town, Mildenhall Town and Thetford Town.

JAMES DUNN
Versatile defender that joined the club at the beginning of the season having previously been with Kings Lynn Town.

JORDAN GENT
Tall experienced central defender that re-joined Soham from Cambridge City ahead of the 2022/23 season, having previously had spells with Biggleswade Town and St Neots Town.

HARRY HARVEY
Young defender that returned to the club for the 2024 season from Bury Town, where he represented the Blues’ U18s and U23s, having previously represented the Soham’s EJAs.

CALLUM HOWE
A versatile midfielder that joined Soham during the summer from Wisbech Town.

FINLEY IRON
Goalkeeper that returned to Soham in September 2023 following a short spell with Eynesbury Rovers. Worked his way through Cambridge United’s youth setup, making one first team appearance. Also had spells with Yaxley, St Neots Town, St Ives Town, Haverhill Borough and Godmanchester Rovers. Named manager's player of the year in his first year with the club.

JUDE IRON
Left sided defender or attacker that returned to Soham in September 2024 from Lakenheath. Previously played for Haverhill Rovers, Haverhill Borough, Eynesbury Rovers and West Wratting.

LEWIS JACKAMAN
Midfielder that signed for Soham ahead of the 2023/24 season from Foxton.

TED JOHNSON
Defender that joined Soham in November 2023 from Lakenheath. Also plays Kings Lynn U23s.

TYLER KNOWLES
Full back that signed at the beginning of the season from Heacham, having previously played in the National League for Boston United and Kings Lynn Town.

HAYDEN LAMBERT
Attacking midfielder that joined Soham towards the end of the 2023/24 season

GABRIEL MUFFETT
Made his 1st Team debut towards the end of the 2023/24 campaign, after progressing through the Reserves and Under 18s, where he was last year named player of the season.

MASON NEWMAN
Attacker that returned to the Lane for the 2024/25 season from Great Shelford, where he was second top scorer in the Cambs League. Previously progressed through the club’s Under 18s and Reserves before spells with Ely City and Haverhill Rovers.

RYAN SHARMAN
Attacker that returned to Soham in September 2022 from Cambridge City. Originally spent three years with the Greens from 2013, before signing for City in 2016. Also played for Leiston. Last season’s manager’s and player’s player of the season, and top scorer.

CHARLIE SUTCLIFFE
Midfielder that joined Soham at the beginning of the 2022 season. Promoted through the U18s and Reserves making his 1st Team debut in the November 2022.

BEN TOFTS
Quick attacker that signed for the senior team at the start of the season. Finished the last campaign with the Under 16s, having previously been with Norwich City.

JUNIOR VARELA
Quick attacker that returned to Soham ahead of the 2024 season from Kings Lynn Town, having had a spell on loan during the previous campaign.

OLIVER WARD
Striker that returned to Soham in October. Previously joined from Witchford 96 at the start of the 2021 campaign, winning the player of the year and top scorer awards in his first season.
